.Android Pie made its grand entry a few weeks ago for Pixel devices and Essential phones. Here is a list of devices that will receive the Android 9.0 pie. However, most of the third party models are yet to taste the pie. Now Huawei takes the matter into its own hands. Huawei Android Pie Closed Beta Program is all set to begin from today. In this beta testing, 9 of the Huawei devices will get to enjoy a test version of Android P. As usual, Huawei’s own skin EMUI 9 will team up with the pie.
Starting from today itself ie 28th August 2018 Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P20, P20 Pro, Honor 10, Honor V10, Honor Play will be a part of the Huawei Android Pie closed beta program. Along with these super premium flagships such as the Mate 10 Porsche Design and Mate RS Porsche Design will as well join for the Pie party.
Android 9.0 pie is the 9th Android OS from Google. It is a follow up to the Android v8.0 and v8.1 Oreo of 2017. With Android Pie, we get gesture navigation, App action running on AI, App slices and digital well-being etc. Improvements for existing features such as Do Not Disturb, Adaptive battery, adaptive brightness also grace the device which gets a system upgrade to Android Pie.
The Huawei devices that are going to get the Android Pie beta will enjoy all these features. In this beta testing, only a few loyal and hardcore Huawei users will have the chance to experience the Pie on their devices. The aim of the closed beta is to improve upon the existing OS. Also, it will make way for a bug-free efficient OS.
