Though Huawei gets surrounded by controversies time and again it never fails to deliver its products. We are talking about the new Huawei Mate 30 Pro. In fact, Huawei also provided efficient software support for its devices. Speaking of which, the Mate 30 Pro is receiving its 3rd software update which is currently making its way into the device. It is rolling with the build number EMUI 10.0.0.133 (C00E132R5P1) based on Android 10 along with EMUI 10.

The new update improves system stability and fixes the noise issue during switching between music and video. It also improves the playback quality in the Speaker mode. The display lag while running TikTok is reportedly solved by the latest update. This update fixes the issue of the Air Gesture icon not showing when it’s used.

It is interesting to note that there is no mention of a security patch upgrade in the changelog. Maybe the OEM dropped a new patch but did not mention or it is yet to roll it out. This new software update is rolling over-the-air. The users should get this update soon on their respective devices.

Device Overview

Huawei Mate 30 pro released in September 2019. It supports single nano-SIM and hybrid dual SIM. This device has a big OLED display of 6.5-inches with resolution 1176 x 2400 pixels. Out-of-the-box Mate 30 Pro runs Android 10 along with the native EMUI 10. It uses an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset. Huawei offers the Mate 30 Pro with an 8GB memory option with an alternative for 128 GB and 256 GB storage.

The camera section packs a quad-camera setup on the rear. It comprises of 40 MP (wide)+ 8 MP(telephoto) + 40 (ultrawide)and 3d TOF lens. The Mate 30 Pro also features a dual selfie camera of 32 MP and a 3D TOF. Among other features, the device also comes with Face ID, in-display fingerprint, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, barometer, compass, etc. A non-removable Li-Po battery of 4500mAh powers of the Mate 30 Pro. This flagship from Huawei is available in three colors Black, Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, and Emerald Green.

The update should reach everyone’s device on its own. However, OTAs make their moe batch. So, first, a few users will receive the update. Later other users will get it. So, if you haven’t received it yet, instead of waiting you can try to download it manually.

Go to device Settings > System Updates. Now you can check for the C00E132R5P1 update. If it’s available download it using Wi-Fi. The software weighs a little over 200 MB. Also, don’t forget to have a juiced-up battery before upgrading your device.
