Nowadays, most of the smartphone company offering fast charging technologies, make sure that the phone charged up in a short time. There are many companies that offer fast charging feature, including Qualcomm Quick Charge, OnePlus Dash Charge, Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging, Oppo VOOC charging and USB-C Power Delivery. Last year, OnePlus Dash charging technology and Huawei’s SuperCharge technology were the best in the market. Now Chinese smartphone company claims that the Super VOOC charging on the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition is the fastest charging tech currently available in the market. It can fully charge 3730 mAH capacity battery in just 35 minutes. Now we might see Huawei in the same super-fast charging race.

It looks like Huawei already have a new fast-charging charger to compete with Oppo Super VOOC charging. Recently, a Huawei power adapter appeared and certified by 3C (Chinese certification authority). The Huawei’s power adapter comes with HW-100400C00 model number and developed by Astec Electronics (Luoding Co. Ltd). The adapter also offers a maximum 10V/4A recharge configuration. Which means the charging power expected to go as high as 40W. Which is much faster than the Huawei P20 series smartphone 22W fast charging charger.

A couple of years ago in 2016, Huawei launched the Honor Magic smartphone that came with 5V.8A fast charging charger. The company claimed to full charge in just 45 minutes. With the new Huawei Super Charger, it may reduce the time to 30 minutes. As of now, there is no word when the company unveiled this technology to market. The company may include this technology with Huawei Mate 20 which expected to announce in October this year.
