This month Hyper has introduced a new product called the HyperJuice USB-C battery pack. As “the world’s most powerful” in its category, the specs are quite impressive!
With an airline-safe 27000mAh battery pack, the battery includes dual USB-C ports with 100W and 60W power delivery. It also has a 18W USB-A Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 port. That means this USB-C battery is powerful enough to simultaneously quick charge a MacBook along with your iPhone, iPad or other devices.
For a limited time, you can preorder the HyperJuice USB-C Battery Pack for $159 before the price increases to $299.

As seen in our hands on above, you’ll get all of this power in a package slim enough to slide in a bag or pocket. At around 7.5 x 3-inches and an inch thick, the battery weighs just 550 grams. It comes in at around 30% smaller than its closest competitor and does so while packing in a huge 27000mAh battery. That’s the maximum capacity possible to maintain airline regulations.
You’ll also appreciate the slick all-aluminum enclosure to match the MacBook, which will be familiar to anyone that has owned Hyper’s other popular battery products.
Recharge HyperJuice in 1 hour
Perhaps one of the most impressive features of the new HyperJuice USB-C battery is the 100W input. That makes it possible to charge the battery itself using the 100W port and fully charge in just 1 hour! With pass-through charging, you can continue charging devices on the 60W USB-C port and the 18W USB-A port while you charge the battery. Below you’ll also see a circular 5 stage LED battery level indicator.
To give you an idea of how big 27,000mAh is, it will double the battery life of a 15″ MacBook Pro. It’s also powerful enough to charge devices that require 100W such as the Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16″ tablet. This feature is something that competitors currently don’t offer in a battery this size.
